Farmers Market - Newbury
The first Sunday of every month - from 9am to 1pm.
Held in the market square, next to the clock tower.
A number of local products from cider to sauerkraut with other ferments in-between, such as sourdoughs bread, and others that have not been fermented either!
-
Farmers Market - Reading
Twice a month on the 1st and 3rd Saturday, from 8.15am to 12pm. Held in the old Cattle Market, although there are no cows in it any more.
But you can get a nice cheese and other locally made foods (like sauerkraut!), and drink - kombucha, beer and cider.
Find us at this market on the first Saturday of every month.
-
Hungerford Food Community
The second Sunday of every month, from April to October, 10am to 1pm.
The Croft Field Centre, near the river. Dozens of local people making nice food and drink.
-
Woolton Hill Market
This market is close to my heart. The market is not-for-profit and every year, they have a new chosen charity. In 2024 (the same time Fermented Reality was started), it was Speakability, a charity that helps people with aphasia - which I needed.
Held every other month on the last Saturday between 10am and 1pm. The days can be found on their website, which you can click below.

Artisan Market - Newbury
CLOSED
One of the best markets in Newbury, with many traders along the high street once a month, on the last Sunday of the month.
However, the Newbury BID have not yet reopened the market this year (in 2024 it started in January). A Business Improvement District should improve businesses. If they wake up and smell the kombucha, reopening the market for one day a month, then Fermented Reality will be back on it!
